Charles Philip Arthur George was born at Buckingham Palace on November 14, 1948. He is the eldest son of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. The Prince of Wales became the first heir apparent to go to school rather than have a private tutor. Along with a naval career, The Prince of Wales is patron or president of more than 400 organizations around the world. This is The Prince of Wales 15^th visit to Canada.

The Biography of The Duchess of Cornwall

The Duchess of Cornwall was born Camilla Rosemary Shand on July 17, 1947 in London. Her parents were Rosalind Shand and Major Bruce Shand. She attended the Queen’s Gate School in London. Later on, The Duchess became patron or president of her many charities and holds military appointments. Her connection to Canada dates back to the 19^th century
