Your Royal Highness,
I've been waiting my whole life to meet you. I was at the bio dome that day very early waiting for you to arrive. When I then saw you among your gaurds, I was speechless, I could not believe you where there. You shook my brothers hand and wished it were mine. I am very fond of Your Royal Highness and hope someday we can meet again.
Best regards

We are pleased that the Royal Couple look so happy with each other. This trip was an amazingly busy one and they did a marvelous job as usual.
Most disappointing has been the inability to come and see them as it was almost impossible in BC to find out where they will be. This has not happened on previous visits by members of the Royal Family, I was always able to go to be part of the 'fans'.
In any case, thank you to the Queen and Prince Charles.

My mother and I would like to thank The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall for their visit to Canada. We hope that you have not found it too arduous and that you will return very soon. We also thank Prince Charles for the work he undertakes, and for his wise counsel on so many diverse subjects.
If I may add that my mother was a WAAF in England during World War II (Mentioned in Despatches), and she was particularly touched that The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall were able to attend the ceremony at the War Memorial in Ottawa today.
Mrs. Jean Rowland, Miss Jane Rowland.

As Your Royal Highnesses complete your 2009 Royal Tour in Canada may I thank you for the extraordinary effort you made in sun, rain and cold to bring a sense of tradition and dignity to so many events across the Nation. Please forgive the Canadian ethos, from senior levels of Government to the General Public, when we have failed to celebrate or to exert ourselves and rejoice at the current and historic contribution of Her Majesty the Queen and the whole Royal Family to Canada. Let there be no doubt in your mind that your presence in Canada is of significant and vital importance to our society. The monarchy gives Canada a unique social identity and has been our historic reason "to be". Too many Canadians have forgetten that it was loyalty to the Crown that help create Canada after the Amemican Revolution of 1776, the War of 1812, Confederation in 1867, and World War I and II to mention only a few crossroads in our history! Thank you for visiting Canada over these last few days! Please come again and come often! God Save the Queen!

It has been a great honor for you to come and visit this great country of ours.
I hope you had a great time in Vancouver and had a look at the Olympic venues for 2010. The snow is falling up at Whistler and the season starts early for locals this Saturday.
I bid you a safe return to the United Kingdom and i'll see you in the futre maybe back at the London Palladium.

Your Royal Highnesses:
Although I wasn't able to come to any of the events that you attended, I did contribute to the packaging of seeds that were presented to the Duchess of Cornwall on her visit to Van Dusen Gardens. I moved to Vancouver from Ottawa two years ago and joined the Van Dusen Botanical Garden and very much enjoy volunteering there. Last summer I purchased the book "The Elements of Organic Gardening" HRH the Prince of Wales with Stephanie Donaldson and have been inspired by it and enjoyed every page.
Wishing you both a safe journey.
Yours truly, Carol Dane

I was so fortunate to be in Turkey durinng your visit in 2007, although there was no possibility to see you due to security reasons. I am now delighted to be in Canada as a new immigrant, which may be an opportunity to see you and the Duchess on the Rememberance day, the very much loved British Royals.
As an Oxford graduate I heartily hope to obtain my entry visa to UK to be able to see all my loved ones in Britain, my most dear academic friends, and other loved ones at Oxford, London, and Wales.
Hopefully, you and your lovely wife will be great role models for Canadians.

We are very lucky to have you here in B.C.
I wish i could have visited the Parliament Buildings in Victoria, B.C. when you were here. I was busy with swimming classes for my daughter. She wants to visit England when she grows up and see the palace and the Queen. It would be nice to receive an invitation for her to go inside and meet with you both. It will be really motivational as she is also involved in leadership in grade 8 at Cedar Hill Middle school.

Welcome! For the long-term relevance of the Crown in Canada it is imperative that more time is spent in this country by members of the Royal Family. Canadians must come to learn to think of the Monarchy as a Canadian institution -- not exclusively British.

Your Royal Highnesses,
Welcome to your home in North America from an ethnically Chinese Canadian citizen who has adopted canadian values. Our home, if established in this new homeland which should be protected under canadian law, is also your home if you are to enter. If our Chinese heritage is retained under multicultural policy, we want to extend our most heartfelt warmness to host you in our Chinese heritage style - to make our guests feeling like being home - there is an exact Chinese idom to say the equivalent English biblical meaning "my home your home".
We want to thank you how powerful Canadian law is protecting us and has brought to our culture certain values that do not exist - equity, democracy, freedom of speech, and many more. We have prospered and want to continue to prosper. Many of us dwell in this new homeland by building our homes and opening our businesss. For many who have immigrated in the 1980s, only one human generation time (20 years) has just passed. The generation who has immigrated with their parents have grown up and is ready to serve this country. May we express our wish and our desire to serve this country with loyalty, dignity, and to our full ability.
Please enjoy your trip with joy, happiness, and a feeling of being home, given the reminiscent English atmosphere here: the rain, the gardens, the churches, and the English brandnames. A garden is heaven for a child, for the beautiful flowers and the rabbits amaze him/her, and many have found quality time in feeding and playing with the rabbits with your kind, silent royal permission.
May you find the additional cultures brought in by other immigrants -French, Chinese, etc will amaze you that under God's blessing, Canada has indeed been enriched and that all citizens are your citizens, regardless of their birthplace and ethnic group.
May we be able to greet you again in the many years to come.
God save the Queen and Vive le Canada.
Anna

Welcome to Canada,
I am a descendent of King George the fourth and Mrs. Fitzherbert. My wonderful Grandmohter was Agnes Payne from Engalnd. Our families live on Vancouver Island and the lowermainland. Claudia and Phillis are in England. There certainly is family resemblence!
Mrs Foord Kelsey from Engalnd distributed the book ,Mrs. Fitzherbert written by her late husband a Royale relative to all the descendents living here. You may want to read it.
The Paynes, wine merchants also owned the store that exclusively supplied the spirits to Buckingham Palce. Our plaque is on the building which is still there.
I have a keen interest in the Royale family and wish you all the best!
Mrs. Brenda Einarson (nee Amos).

Your Royal Highnesses,
Thank you for accepting a long overdue invitation to visit Canada after several years' absence.
Canadians have demonstrated our strong ties to the Monarchy by turning out in force in every place you have visited. The value of the Monarchy in our system of government and in inspiring the popular imagination has been proven once again. We will bring our family out to honour the fallen with you on Remembrance Day in Ottawa next week.
We all hope that more frequent Royal Visits can be arranged in the future.

My Friend Pamela Kinsman and I (Kathleen Verdone) representing our families would like to extend to both of you our heartiest welcome to Canada. It is not the best time of year to be visiting Ontario. Soon Canadians begin thinking about going to Florida to find sunshine and warmer temperatures. We hope you experience the warm hospitality of our diverse Canadian culture. This, we hope, will make up for the cool, wet weather. Welcome and enjoy your time in Canada.

Warm Greetings to His Royal Highness and his lovely wife Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall.
We hope you both enjoy very much the splendor and spectacular beauty of the land and seas, and a portion of the rich ancestral heritage to which her highness Duchess of Cornwall-Rothesay belongs.
Your visiting reminds us all as Canadians and world citizens of the great appreciation we should have available for renewal of this nations great history and evolution as a story continuously unfolding.
We hope each time you return to visit you indeed find another chapter to be told, each better than the last; with more accomplishments, achievements and milestones to celebrate
and many more warm welcomes to be had in the future.

A special greeting of welcome to the Royal Couple!
As staunch Monarchists, our family wishes to extend a warm welcome to the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall on their visit to Canada. Particularly, it is sincerely hoped that the Duchess of Cornwall will be greeted warmly throughout the Canadian visit. From our family, kindly share that we are glad that they are happily married and delighted to have them visit Canada. I shall be pulling my elder son, Martin, out of school to attend at Dundurn Castle in Hamilton as I feel it is a matter of historical importance.
Our Town, Aurora, is the recipient of The Prince of Wales Heritage Award for the protection of historical buildings in our community. Additionally, a local rider from Aurora, Sarah Cowie, will be accompanying the Royal Couple as they open the Royal Winter Fair. Greetings from our (British) Mayor, Phyllis Morris as well!

Greetings and Welcome, Your Royal Highnesses, Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall. Thank you for returning to your Canadian Home, Prince Charles, and bringing your wife to what we hope will be her first of many visits eventually to all parts of Canada. We, in British Columbia, await your arrival with great excitement and anticipation. Hopefully, you will be able to return at the time of the Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver in February. The Games would not be a truly complete Canadian event without the attendance of some members of our Royal Family. May God bless and protect your visit...and may you return home with many happy memories to share with Her Majesty and the rest of your family. (Your visit follows in the tradition of wonderful visits of your parents and grandparents.)
I look forward to seeing you both in Victoria. By the way, my second name, Charles, was given to me in honour of Your Royal Highness! Thank you again for honouring us with your presence. May you return many times as Prince of Wales with your wife and someday as our future King with your Queen. (Thank you, Government of Canada, for the opportunity to send these messages to our Royal Visitors...I hope they enjoy reading them and will know how appreciated they are in Canada.)

Dear Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla,
Welcome to Canada! I am hoping to be able to meet you or at least, shake your hand in welcome! In the late 1970's, my husband Fred Neubacher, a Canadian artist, met your Mother in Ottawa near the National Arts Centre. She is quite lovely and commented favourably on his works; I have followed your diverse interests in England and have many things in common with you Sir, including interests in different religions, nature, natural agriculture. It would be my honour to be able to meet you and your dear wife in Ottawa, as I plan on attending the November 11th Remembrance Day services here. If that would be possible, it would most likely be the highlight of my life!

WELCOME TO CANADA.
I'm thrilled that I might have an opportunity to bring my sons, who are 15 and 12 to see you sometime while you're in the Toronto Area. My grandparents were both from Portsmouth, England. My grandfather served in the Royal Navy for several years, and then came to Canada where he homesteaded on a farm in Southern Saskatchewan. He flew the Union Jack at his farm for as long as he lived there. In the middle of nowhere.
My great-grandfather served as an engineer on a ship in the Royal Navy that King George spent time on before he became king. At least that's what our family stories say. I'm sorry I can't remember its name.
Many years ago, I saw the Royal Family in The Pas Manitoba. My family has long been fans of, and supporters of both your family and the Monarchy in Canada.
I hope you have a very pleasant visit here, and leave with happy memories.
